Whether it rains, snows, or is fully sunny, walking in nature always boosts your mood and energy level. Get your step count up, and spend a lovely moment with new expat friends.

Let’s embrace the walk, the talk, and the surprising nature in Hoorneboegse Heide. A 145-hectare nature preserve in the south of Hilversum.

What to expect:

• Discover a unique landscape changing every season (green in springtime, yellow in summer, purple at the end of summer, orange in autumn, and sometimes white in winter)

• Singing birds, peaceful white cows, or happy dogs (it’s a dog-friendly place, so bring yours if you are a lucky dog owner) may brighten the walk.

• Meeting new expat friends (group of 3 people max), sharing spontaneous and real conversations.

🍀 In other words, every walk won’t be the same. It could be with different people, different scenery and different hiking paths. Let improvisation and intuition guide you here :)

Event info:

• Time & dates: every Saturday from 10 am and Sunday from 2 pm

• Number of participants: group of 3 people max

• Dress code: it will depend on the weather, but bring something comfortable. If it rained the day before, please beware it can be muddy.
